Programs

Community Based

The Big Brother or Big Sister spends a few hours a week, for at least a year, with a child, between the ages of 6 and 16, developing a friendship and having fun! A wide variety of activities take place in the community. Volunteers are adults who are at least 18 years old.

School-Based

Big Brothers & Sisters has school-based programs at area schools. The Big Brother or Big Sister spends about an hour a week, for the academic year, at the school sharing friendship and activities with the child. Volunteers may be adults, or college students.

Site-Based

Big Brothers & Sisters has a site-based program on the campus of Oklahoma Wesleyan University. The Big Brother or Big Sister spends an hour a week, for the academic year, at the site sharing friendship and activities with the child. Volunteers are college or high school students.
